🌟(1)Zero Conditional
*Form*
In zero conditional sentence,the tenses in *both parts*
of sesentence is *Simple Present Tense*
*Function*
In the sentences,the the time is now or always,the time is now or always and the
situation is real or possible
*Example*
-Plants *die* if they *don't get* enough water
-If you heat ice,it melts
-If it rains,you get wet
🌟(2)Type 1 Conditional With If
*Form*
In a type 1 conditional sentence,the tense in the if clause is the Simple Present and
the main clause is the Simple Future
*Function*
In the sentences,the time is the present or future and the situation is real.
*Example*
-If you *don't leave*,*I will call* the police..
-If you don't the drop the gun i will shoot
-no body *I will notice* if you make mistakes.
-If it rains you will get wet
🌟(3)Type 2 Conditional
*Form*
This from composed of two elements:
The present conditional of the verb to be (would be)+the Present Participle of the
main verb (Base Ing).
*Function*
The ffrom is common in type 2 condditional sentencences
It exprensses an unfinished or continuing action or
situation which is probable result of an unreal condition.
*Example*
-I would be working in Italy if i spoke Italian.
(But don't speak Italian so i'm noot working in Italy).
-I wouldn't be eating this if i wasn't extremly hungry.
-if i had an exam tomorrow,i would be revising it now.
🌟(4)Forming The Type 2
*Form*
In a Type 2 Conditional Sentence,the in the *If* clause is *Past Simple*,and the tense
in the main clause in the present conditional.
*Function*
In these sentences,the time is now or anytime,and the situation is unreal.
*Example*
-If you *rubbed* the kettle,a genie *would appear*
-if i had more money,i would buy the car.
- If the weather wasn't so bad we would buy the car
-If i was the king of England i would give everyone some money.

*Form*
In a Type 3 Conditional,the tense
In the IF clause is a PAST PERFECT CONDITIONAL
*Function*
In the sentences,the time is past and the situation is contratry to reality
*Example*
-If i had known you were ill last weak,i would have visited you.
-If i had worked harder i would have passed the exam
(But didn't work hard and i didn't past the exam)
🌟(6)Mixed Conditional Sentences
It's possible for the two parts of a conditional sentence to refer different times,and the
resulting sentence is *Mixed Conditional Sentence*.
There are two types of mixed conditional sentences.

*Form*
The tense in the IF clause is the Past Perfect,and the tense in the Present clause is Present
conditional
*Example*
-If i had worked harder at school,i would have a better job now.
-If we had looked at the map we would not be lost now.
